Lakes shimmer under a luminous evening sky and the oak covered slopes, softened in the hazy golden light, take on a timeless quality: this is the Napa Valley.


Advised by well-known winemakers and after ten years of in-depth study of the terroirs, in 1982 the Skalli family took over the estate of Dollarhide in the north-east of the Napa Valley. The estate is a valley within the valley covering 600 hectares. In 1986, they set up the winery in Rutherford, which has a famous vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley. The new wines were given the name of a French winegrower, Edward St Supery, the owner of the vineyard a century ago.


220 hectares of vines are planted on these perfect soils of the Napa Valley where the wines are described as heavenly. Most of them are sauvignon blanc (unusual for the Napa Valley) and cabernet sauvignon, the grape which has made the reputation of the valley since 1870.


St Supery Sauvignon blanc has become a category leader in Napa Valley. Its breadth and rich aroma reflect the perfection of grapes grown on North America's most coveted terroirs. This drive for optimum quality is in keeping with St Supery's ambition to be counted amongst the best of American red and white chateaux wines.
